2020 IPad Pro Bend Test & Teardown! Still Bends

 Okay.

3210 and there is the eight Twelves e Feels

like it shouldn't be removable after some struggle.

There it is.

Oh,

wow,

That looks cool.

What's up,

guys?

Everything.

Apple pro here got the new iPad probe.

It's a very exciting day.

We gotta check out some new Apple products and I want to see Does it still bend?

The tendency for the old iPad pros to turn into this was actually quite high.

If you don't have a case on it,

that structural,

it's very possible you could bend a day to day usage.

So let's see if Apple fix that.

Want to see the light?

Our sensor actually do many tear down inside.

Take a look at that and offices in process.

We're still figuring things out.

Very excited.

Finish on my part boards and start the iPad.

Lionel's thistles.

Technically,

the second generation,

11 inch iPad Apple calls the new 12.9 inch of the fourth generation as there have been four

generations of it.

So if any of you guys were confused about that,

that's what that is.

As usual,

always very difficult to open.

Nice paper.

Apple's been minimizing the use of plastic.

And there is that lens who actually like neat and

tidy,

not at all as crazy as I expected it to be.

The lenses are a little bit smaller than the 11 pro.

There will get a full over you in just a second,

so it feels pretty much identical to the old one.

The WiFi and LTTE versions are 5 g heavier now.

Wife eyes for lt five.

It's very possible that Apple did make some structural changes on the inside.

Of course you have your 18 walk plug was the cable like the little in debt here for

the camera lens?

All right,

so if you remember last year,

we did the Ben Test one.

Yeah.

Oh,

my gosh,

That is literally like silly putty and bet like candy like it was so simple to

do and structurally very weak around the smart connector here.

The new iPad pro now has five microphones,

the one by the lens much bigger but still not as big as the

11 Pro one.

Here.

It's interesting that it's a smaller version of this on an iPad,

and again the sensor is 10 megapixels,

so doesn't need to be quite as large.

She's very surprising to see how subtle it is.

The bumps are much smaller than the 11 pro Siri's and the lighter

sensor.

Smooth,

very discernible.

It's comprised of two elements.

I want to take a look at that.

See if we can learn anything about what Apple will do for the 12 Pro from this sensor.

Little disappointed that Apple didn't experiment with colors.

I wanted to see a midnight green iPad Pro or a Rose Gold for this

Siri's.

But I guess there's always the refresh.

Later this year with the Apple a 14 X I find it interesting that Apple is doing to refreshes of the iPad

Pro in the same year.

Last time they did that with the iPad four.

Siri's.

There were a lot of angry customers,

and they're doing it again.

They'll be adding five g to the iPad Pro later this year and launching alongside the new

iPhones.

Or so we hear from the leaks.

But don't let that stop you buying the iPad pro you want to get now because the leaks game,

it never ends.

Who I really like.

The new camera interface,

so definitely taken from the iPhone.

11 pro Siri's.

We have a new zoom button here on the left.

Previously,

it was this slider.

So,

like the old iPad,

it does display the badge.

You still cannot change the video settings from in here.

There's Zoom.

Very nice,

very fluid.

And it's 10 megapixels,

not 12 of the 11 Pro,

but still seems adequate here.

So take a look at that lens.

I mean,

we're gonna compare them in a little bit,

but they're magnets placed everywhere,

So we'll be developing our own case.

And depending on how this does,

we might add a region X brace.

Insider will experiment with a couple options,

but I want to make a very rigid case,

something that will ensure that this does not bend under normal use.

Apple officially didn't say anything about it becoming stronger like they did with the success

that when they just silently updated toe aluminum.

7000 Siri's.

Okay,

3210 man.

Like butter.

Yeah,

Too easy.

So other side.

Just for proof of concept.

Yeah,

that's just like that.

Aluminum still bends and breaks stress.

Fracture it there Still able to use it.

This is not the foldable we were promised from Apple.

Wow.

Too easy.

So we'll take a look in a second.

But it appears that Apple has not made any changes whatsoever to reinforce this iPad

still,

Justus Bendable when I could see this bending with it in your backpack,

of course,

is where it's going to be bending.

Speaking off,

I think Output would do a great job on a foldable,

and apparently they will be doing one.

Okay,

Now,

it doesn't appear that the microphone side Oh,

actually,

it didn't crack.

So with heavy pressure,

it will crack.

But you have to get to a certain point where that needs to happen.

Yeah,

that's just gnarly.

I mean,

pretty much what I expected.

Now,

let's take a look inside and unfold at first.

Oh,

not much better takes

sighs against the I can easily manipulate it with my hands.

Most of the structural integrity is in the screen.

Believe it or not,

this thing is so easy to bend.

You guys absolutely need a case and microphone area here.

Oh,

wow.

I cannot believe how malleable this medal is.

Still,

they did not fix anything.

And the U S B port area.

Oh,

that's just a crack boom cracks like nothing.

Okay,

so from here to here is the only area where it's structurally

sound enough where it's difficult to bend everywhere else.

Oh my goodness,

just tears into it.

And the case the Apple sells has almost no rigidity.

You need one that actually wraps all the way around.

So the answer is Apple has not made this any more durable whatsoever.

Chassis wise,

just from the testing,

Let's take a look inside compared to the last generation.

See if there's anything new going on a little bit tricky with

this display should to come right up.

It's unbelievable how thin the city displays are on the iPad.

Siri's So yeah,

the new displayed plugs right into the older one.

It appears that display wise,

identical,

possibly even interchangeable.

So the batteries on the 11 inch did get smaller There now rated

7540 versus 7812 Apple.

As ever,

tinkering and optimizing speakers appear to be exactly the same.

It appears that they're not using screws anymore on the thermal protection over

the processor,

it's now just a removable sticker,

just a straight peel up,

and here are the internals,

So the chip at first appearance does look identical.

They're using a new thermal paste,

a white one,

and there is the A 12 Z,

So the only difference that I can discern right now is theatrical logo replaces the

12 X.

The text still remains on the bottom.

Overall still looks almost identical to the A 12 X.

I mean,

the only difference is that Apple added an eighth GPU core still the same chip.

Still the same architecture er,

so very minor differences here.

Apple has not done as much as they would like you to think.

It's a slight refresh before the major one.

At the end of the year,

it appears that Apple has made this slightly easier to repair.

There are a few differences in the chip placements and components,

and this connector seems to be all.

Oh,

there's a little cover on it.

See,

now there are a few proprietary screws around the camera lens.

Apple clearly does not want you inside of here,

and this may be because of the light or censor,

but it's all fused together on one little platform here.

Feels like it shouldn't be removable after some struggle.

There it is.

Oh,

wow.

That looks cool,

man.

So we have a look at what it could possibly look like on the iPhone 12.

Look at the design differences versus the 11 Pro Series.

How cool is that?

Wow.

So Apple is seriously stepping their game up here,

and the camera module itself is smaller.

The three d sensor just looks so neat up close that is,

seriously next level toe.

One of those is the time of Flight one.

The lighter sensor and they work together actually looks completely different than the tear down that apple

gave us.

Maybe to throw some people off.

That's very interesting to me.

How different it looks.

And here's that sensor.

So not quite a perfect circle,

like it seems outside.

And some other changes that I noticed Apple didn't actually make anything structurally different.

In fact,

a lot of the CNC lines are exactly the same.

What they did add is a thermal strip here on the left.

This is likely to help with the cooling.

As they said,

they re work that on these new iPad pros to handle four K workloads.

Cut patterns are all the same.

It makes sense.

Wife.

It feels the same.

All the placement of the magnets is identical,

so it's quite clear that Apple did not do structural reinforcements.

And it's unfortunate,

but you definitely need to treat your iPad with cares.

It's a very delicate object,

man.

I love seeing the internals of Apple products,

the miniaturization man.

It's getting to a whole nother level.

This is the future of the eight twelves e in the light.

Our sensor so cool.

Well,

there it is,

guys.

The 2020 iPad pros.

Not anymore.

Structurally sound,

but Apple did make some improvements on the inside to the thermal management.

The new apple processor with the apple logo on it.

The 12 z Curious to see how much faster or slower it'll be versus the X and the

apple a thirteen's,

we'll be doing some testing there.

There is the most impressive part of the video,

the time of flight sensor and the reworked lends more compact.

The engineering here is insane,

and a slightly smaller battery and the reworked components here placements

overall,

though mostly the same.

Thanks for watching guys stating for the next one piece

IPhone 12 Specs & Design LEAKS! SE 2020 CONFIRMED!

 It's up,

guys,

everything.

Apple pro here It has been an insane week of Apple leaks.

Just when I think I'm getting on top of the news,

even more come out.

So I apologize about the delay behind this video,

but we took our time to craft our renders,

and I hope you like our best yet.

Okay,

so let's get into it.

The iPhone 12 pro design has leaked this is it its final form,

confirmed by multiple sources Max Wind back John Prosser.

Several other sources I have do confirm that this is legit.

This leak originated from an I was 14 early build from concepts,

iPhone and then later by Fudge,

a Twitter leaker and has been confirmed by multiple sources.

To be correct,

Apple is in the final stages of prototyping,

and this is an instruction manual for the upcoming iPhone depicting that new,

lighter sensor and how Apple will be equipping their upcoming 2020 iPhone lineup with this

sensor.

So I just wanted to say we weren't too far off.

The only difference between our concept was the lighter sensor is even larger than that of the

iPad Pro,

which is not surprising.

Apple wants their iPhones to be the most capable.

And considering the iPad pro lenses themselves are smaller.

It makes sense that the lighter sensor on the iPad Pro would also be smaller.

I say it looks cool.

I mean,

only logical that Apple would move forward in this direction.

And the centre flash was correct.

Even the microphone mounted in between the lenses on the bottom was correct,

surprisingly,

and I wouldn't even be surprised if this is how it does look on the inside,

based on the new iPad Pro camera housing that this one would look very

similar with the three d time of flight on the bottom right?

It's hard to tell if this graphic confirms a boxy design the iPhone four like

design that Michiko confirmed for this year's iPhones as it is a two d

image.

But I would like to think that it does.

In a separate report today,

John Prosser confirmed that Apple is very close to the finalisation of their iPhone 12

lineup.

He shared this graphic with the details inside,

so the lower end,

5.4 inch and 6.1 inch iPhones will be aluminum based.

The larger 6.1 and 6.7 inch iPhone.

12 pro models will remain stainless steel.

All will have a smaller notch.

And by the way,

the not you're seeing in our concepts.

This is based on the earlier iPhone 11 pro leak from January 15th,

which was one of the ones Apple was considering.

It had this exact same notch there.

So it's the most accurate look at what a notch could look like if Apple were to make it smaller,

which John Prosser is saying Apple will be doing as earlier predicted.

Only the high end 6.1 and 6.7 inch 12 pros will have the additional

lighter sensor and three cameras.

The two lower and models will not have three cameras and a lighter sensor Onley dual lenses.

I personally wouldn't even be surprised if Apple kept around and design on the lower end 5.4

and 6.1 inch iPhones and introduced that steely,

boxy look for the 6.1 and 6.7 edge.

That would be a pretty cool way to differentiate a pro and non pro device,

and John confirms that we might be seeing the final cads within 1 to 2 months here.

That's very exciting.

We did get those around May June for the iPhone 11 pro,

and all the case makers could start working directly off of those cats.

And,

speaking of cads,

wanted to share our latest graphics with you.

We just filed our second design patent for our lock amount magnet system.

Honestly,

so exciting seeing the entire process and how it looks,

making the graphics very excited about the future of the ecosystem of magnetic products.

On our case,

for everyone that preordered,

we're making good headway.

But as you know,

we pushed our launch frame up into May due to the Cove in 19 Outbreak.

So stay tuned for updates on that.

And Prosser mentions that because Apple is done with the prototyping,

there are only about two months behind on release,

so we'll be seeing a staggered release likely October November.

But it should still happen this year for the iPhone 12 Siri's and a few other leaks from the Fudge Twitter

leaker.

He says that the apple,

a 14 chip code name,

is Firestorm pretty cool sounding,

not what it will be called.

Just the development name and fudge confirms that B 389 is indeed an air

tag placeholder development name,

shared this screenshot with us.

So he does have access to the Iowa's 14 leaked build,

adding even more credence to the fact that that week of the iPhone told Pro was correct.

And 9 to 5.

Mac has published an exclusive iPhone S E report,

which I must say,

take with a grain of salt as a certain aspect of it was not right.

And that was the release timeframe.

They said that would happen on Friday.

The iPhone S e did not release on Friday,

and of course,

the naming they did confirm would be the iPhone S E 2020 and not

iPhone nine that we've been hearing.

I honestly like the idea of Apple relinquishing iPhone S E and then 2020 would be

the moniker explaining the iPhone S e from the older version and 9 to 5.

Mac confirms that will be seeing three colors for this new iPhone S e one being product

red,

which I love the idea of.

If Apple were to theme this as the iPhone eight style product red,

the iPhone s C 2020 would look incredible.

Glossy,

nice black elements.

I would love to see something like this.

And considering it's being based on the iPhone eight,

I'm sure that Apple could do something similar.

I just hope they keep a black front and not a white screen.

Other colors include white and Black.

9 to 5.

Mac confirms the storage sizes,

which would be 64 128 and 256 gigabytes

9 to 5.

Mac does not know the pricing for this upcoming iPhone S E.

Earlier we heard $399 starting Price speculated at

449.

So it'll be somewhere around the $400 mark 9 to 5.

Mac does not know the immediate launch date.

It's been rumored by John Prosser that it would be happening on the 14th or the 15th of

this month,

with an actual released eight on the 22nd.

And there have been a ton of listings all around Virgin Mobile,

Verizon.

Even on the official Apple site,

we saw a couple listings,

one for a screen protector that directly references the iPhone s team and an apple care

listing so we know it's happening imminently,

possibly on the 14th or 15th of this month.

Okay,

and some juicy I was 14 weeks.

This is coming from dongle Book Pro,

a leaker known to Max Wind back,

and he shared the wallpaper interface for I was 14.

It looks incredible.

So Apple is making several changes in the wallpaper area of Iowa's 14 1st off

their starting new wallpaper collections,

where they will be grouping wallpapers in certain categories such as Earth and moon flowers

and classic stripes.

Users will be able to scroll through those collections to find wallpapers easier.

Also,

there's a new Grady in option.

So Apple is including some sort of default radiance in Iowa's 14 Awesome,

and it appears that Apple is finally giving you some sort of flexibility and customization of the home

screen similar to that the way you would customize your apple watch with a feature called

Home Screen Appearance 9 to 5.

Mac is reporting on this that it would theoretically allow you to add widgets,

which you can then move around and interact with a wonder how similar it would be to the jailbreak.

Tweak I West blocks a longtime favorite honestly,

Very intuitive.

You'd be able to pension zoom certain widgets.

But apparently Apple will be doing something with the widgets on the home screen in I was 14.

Could this be the year we finally see some major changes to the home screen?

Probably not.

Earlier,

John Prosser regarding WWDC did say we're likely to see several slated

releases,

one for the apple over ear headphones.

And by the way,

Max Wine back in a separate report is saying Apple was originally aiming for a

$300 price tag for these headphones.

But because of the outbreak and the production issues,

they were forced to raise it from between 322 $360.

So I'm guessing we'll see a $349 price tag on those.

And Prosser confirms air tags are slated for WWDC.

He also mentions that will be seeing a refresh for the 13 inch MacBook Pro.

He speculates that it's very possible we could see a 14 inch display on this new Mac book

pro,

but at the very least,

it will be a spec bump featuring Intel's latest 10th generation processors and speaking off.

Intel has just announced its new 10th generation Intel processors.

They say it's the fastest mobile processor in the world.

Exceeding the five gigahertz boosts speed to 5.3 gigahertz.

It's a very minor spec bump,

just glad that Apple will finally be adding WiFi six to their flagship back book.

I'd also like this to be Apples last Intel processor in their flagship Mac book

before their own Ahram processor,

which is rumored for later this year or early next year.

And regarding air tags,

Apple had a little poopsie as someone uploaded a video on their support channel,

directly referencing air tags.

In that video,

Apple quickly removed that,

and that basically confirms air tags is the official name.

I don't know if any of you remember this,

but last year Max Weinberg reported that Apple is working on iPhones that work

underwater and with rain or just liquid on the display in general.

Now,

a new patent application details that,

yes,

Apple is still pursuing this.

And not only are they working on an iPhone that works underwater,

they want it to work even better with a custom interface.

Apparently,

Apple is designing some sort of wet mode or underwater mode,

where you'll be able to take your iPhone underwater operated and have an entirely new

interface that is simpler and easier to use,

especially considering the fact that you're underwater.

You don't want to be fumbling with.

All these little controls will be using vibrations and an easier interface to make your

life easier.

As someone that lives in the Pacific Northwest,

this is a very welcome feature for me.

I'd love to see an iPhone that doesn't freak out just a little bit of rain on it.

Even in this day and age,

there are still some scary bugs being found on the iPhone,

one being an exploit that gained access to the camera on the iPhone.

Using seven exploits,

Daisy chained together an apple,

paid out $75,000 to get it.

It's scary that it only costs that much money to theoretically gain control of someone's

camera.

Had he sold this exploit to the wrong hands?

Also,

there's a bug with face time where people that have updated to 13.4 can't

communicate with older devices.

On I was 9.3 point five or 9.3 point six.

This is for the four s and certain iPads unclear why this is.

But in times like this with a pandemic,

it's scary that some people can't communicate with our loved ones.

And regarding the status of Apple stores,

it's possible there'll be reopened early May.

I think it's wishful thinking,

but that's what Apple is tentatively planning,

all right,

and this is the winner of the galaxy s 20 ultra giveaway.

Thank you for participating.

Will have a four iPhone 11 pro giveaway here soon to commemorate the launch of our case.

Finally,

a year and a half later.

Thanks for sticking with us guys.

I'll be keeping updated piece.
